Stories of Change
As a commemoration of India’s 75 years of independence, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav honours and celebrates the story of India’s freedom struggle. People from across the world are marking this momentous milestone through actions and deeds capturing India’s indomitable spirit and promising future. This “Stories of Change” corner presents such stories of jan bhagidari, with an aim to inspire generations to march towards a new Aatmanirbhar Bharat while remembering the brave hearts of our country.
Bharat ka Amrut Mahotsav, the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence
This is in the context of commemorating the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav (AKAM), for which the calendar of activities is being drawn. In order to achieve the desired scale, visibility, impact and outreach, one of important components is comprehensive awareness programmes at the level of educational institutions.
In this regard, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change is of the view that AKAM ought to be aligned with Idea@75, which is one the five pillars of AKAM communicated by Ministry of Culture. A series of comprehensive environment awareness programmes may have to be conducted at the school level in conjunction with Ministry of Education.
