Digital Library under PM SHRI scheme
Under the PM SHRI scheme, various developments are being made in the functioning and serving of the school library.
8 new computers have been set up in the library by which the normal school library has been transformed into a digital library.
Now all students and staff have access to this digital library for their works, queries and online information. PM SHRI KV Ambarnath library is under the process of upgrading the E-Granthalaya software from version 3.0 to 4.0 to cater the needs of the students.
DIGITAL LIBRARY
The Link is provided as the efforts made for the provision of resources digitally to the users of the library. Under which BLOG of the Library is shared where different online resources are provided along with study material, virtual library, handbooks, NDL, e-Pathshala, Swayam, OLAB etc.,
Also new furniture like chairs, tables along with various corners (Career & guidance,students support materials,teachers resource materials, Science,informative materials etc) are additional features which are helping to give a new look to the digital library which is attracting more students and staff towards the library. Other than normal book purchases, more books (mostly hindi) have been purchased under the PM SHRI scheme.
All stakeholders including students, teachers and parents are very happy with the new changes and functioning of the new digital library.
As technology continues to evolve, PM SHRI KV AMBARNATH library will likely expand their digital services to address the emerging needs of students, ensuring that libraries remain vital centers for learning, and cultural preservation in the digital age.
